Regular maintenance is a prerequisite for preserving the resource of the equipment. It includes replacing all technical fluids (engine, transmission, brakes, cooling), checking filters, cleaning ventilation systems, lubricating components and checking fasteners.

Visual and instrumental diagnostics of chassis, brakes, and electrical components are performed. Tire pressure, belt tension, battery charge, and lighting are checked. A report is also drawn up using a military-style checklist.

Thanks to a systematic approach to maintenance, the HMMWV maintains a high level of readiness and minimizes the likelihood of failure in field conditions even after prolonged operation.
